Project Description

This is a long level site with far reaching south facing views.  The site is in the Conservation Area but set sufficiently above and beyond the road to enable us to design a contemporary building which with its Cedar cladding and sedum roof fits well into the historic setting.

An enormous Poplar, covered by a Tree Preservation Order, dominates the centre of the site. The natural contemporary house has been designed as two boxes joined by a link in order to allow views either side of the tree from the main accommodation.
