This scheme is for a Dorset based client who requires an ultra-contemporary, high specification dwelling which is fully integrated into its woodland setting.
The scheme uses a stepped plan to make the most of the site’s topography and the changing views that it offers. A material palette of natural timber, metal and glass ensures the design blends in seamlessly with its surroundings. Our intention with the stepped design is to create a series of viewing platforms that invites the user to experience the natural setting in the undergrowth, within the trees and high above the canopy.
Every aspect of this design has been considered in detail, down to the door handles, under-stair storage and sliding walls, in order to create a truly bespoke piece of architecture in this remarkable setting.
