Complemented by an extensive landscaped public open space on a 38 hectare site is a new sustainable development of 500 residential dwellings, offices and retail space comprising of a convenience store.
Phases 2 to 4 are currently in the planning process following negotiations with local planning teams and local interest groups. A formal Pre-application process included submission of an Environmental Impact Assessment Scoping Opinion request. Extensive negotiations with the Environment Agency were needed to mitigate flooding risks of the ordinary water course on the site, followed by a productive two day Public Consultation.
The development provides a range of housing types focused on community needs, landscaped green streets with integrated drainage SUDS features, to create a sustainable and visually attractive streetscape.
