Market & affordable housing apartments in West Bay.

This was an undeveloped area between the Caravan Park and the Promenade at West Bay.  The site was visible from Bridport across the valley of the River Brit. 

The site is for a mixture of market and affordable housing.  It was decided to create exciting and contemporary forms to complement the Quay West development which Western Design had produced at the same time for Wyatt Homes on West Quay.

This pair of contemporary buildings uses zinc and Western Red Cedar roofing and cladding over white rendered masonry sitting on a Purbeck Stone plinth.
