Project Description

Initial concept drawings for a new school building at Lytchett Minster School.  The design for the new classroom block includes a pitched roof with central lantern feature for the length of the ridge, allowing additional light and ventilation. A mixture of horizonal and vertical brickwork was proposed to distinguish the floors.

Further along the design process a more convential roof with large glazing was favoured, together with two tone brickwork and large recessed corner windows.
