WDA were honoured to design this white rendered 'L' shaped contemporary hillside dwelling for a friendly German client and his wife.
The house is nestled into the landscape to restrict the ridge height to no higher than the cottage it replaces as requested by the Planning Officers.
The house is constructed from Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) - a modular system of interlocking polystyrene units that are filled with concrete. Full height glazing, balconies and large over-hanging eaves all contribute to the clients desires of a house that draws inspiration from the Huf Haus.
The new home has impressive long reaching views across the West Dorset countryside.
