Bryanston Art School
The school required a flagship building to raise its Art Department profile that had previously been housed in portacabins.
This is a sensitive, highly visible, rural site set in a conservation area and close to Grade I Bryanston House. The school governors encouraged us to produce an innovative design using a mix of traditional and hi-tech materials.

The footprint of the design is a segment of a circle. This design is replicated throughout the building design, as light fittings, door handles and window details.
This award winning brick building features inset brick panels that the Architect allowed each bricklayer to design themselves, adding individually crafted details.
