Impressive curved stone corner building teamed with seaside architecture

The prominent corner is turned by a stone-faced, oval block, which forms the focal point for the junction of the harbour and beach.

A long block of apartments finished in crisp white render face the harbour, heavy greenheart timbers reflect the robust detailing of the piles on the harbour wall.

The heart of the development

The centrepiece of the development is a tear drop shaped ‘folly’ acting as a full stop to the view from the harbour.

The Folly shares many of the design features of the main buildings such as the use of Greenheart timbers to reflect the character of the quayside but it is also a stand alone building in its own right.

This building featured as the police station in the BBC production ‘Broadchurch’.
