Following an involved design and pre-app process, we are very happy to have gained planning approval for a replacement dwelling for a new large house within the conservation area in Bryanston village, Dorset.
This modern vernacular house replaces one of three matching post World War I houses located in a row along New Road. Over time, this one in particular has become so neglected that restoring the property is unrealistic.
Materials include narrow batten fixed timber cladding, red brick and zinc roofing to reflect the aesthetics of the remaining two cottages.
