A pair of historic Grade II Listed Lady Wimborne Cottages have been expertly restored to their former glory.
Formerly Longham Post Office, the buildings were run down and incorporated unsightly modern extensions which had also run into disrepair.
Following a successful planning application to change the use back to residential, the two cottages have been renovated with some minor alterations so they could function as two bed houses once more. Conservation work included re-roofing, structural repairs and alterations to the internal walls. A new simple extension has been added to the rear of the property that is sympathetic to the historical significance of the Lady Wimborne Cottages.
To the rear of the site two new traditional houses have been built to compliment the extisting cottages.
WDA take great satisfaction from rescuing run down or derelict buildings of every kind. If you have a building in need on TCL please contact us.
