Outline Planning Submission, Yapton

Bonhams Field was submitted to Arun District Council for Outline Planning Permission. We should find out in May 2017 whether it has been approved.

This proposal for 56 new homes is of a traditional design and includes a range of heights, architectural styles, layouts and materials to provide a vibrant environment characteristic of an evolving village.

The east side of the site is primarily given over to open space and a wildlife corridor, occupied only by single storey barn conversion type dwellings. Brick is the predominant building material in Yapton and will feature throughout the scheme. Painted brick and render will highlight some focal buildings and help avoid any monotony, whilst the barn style housing will be a combination of timber cladding and brick and flint typical of local barns.
