Spring Cottage, Okeford Fitzpaine

Once a historic chapel, this property was developed into a residence in 2011. Western Design Architects were then appointed in 2014 to extend the converted chapel residence with a two storey timber extension and a glass link.

Spring Cottage is one of Western Design Architects’ most memorable projects owing to the prolonged negotiations endured with the local planning authority as well as several structural impediments that were unearthed during the building regulations application and construction processes.
