On Site at The Lake House, Wales

This exciting project on the coast of Wales is progressing well. This modern holiday let is largely completed with both the cedar cladding and slate roof having been installed. The house has fantastic lake, sea and beach views through a large double height gable window.

Constructed from local stone, Structural Insulation Panels (SIPs), cedar cladding and powder coated aluminium windows meant excellent design detail was paramount to both WDA and the client to ensure the building could withstand the severe weather. The concealed gutters are testimony of this.

The house is built to a Passivhaus standard with only 2 Woodburning stoves acting as heat sources.

The interior is well underway and nearing completion and we very much look forward to the next phase which will encorporate the landscaping. This holiday let is part of a larger scheme on the site, Keep an eye out for further updates.
