Plans submitted for an exciting new day nursery in Verwood

WDA are pleased to have submitted a full planning application for a new day nursery within the town. Orchard Day Nursery had outgrown its current site nearby, this new location will allow for the expansion of nursery facilities within a sustainable and contemporary new building.

The layout is a direct response to the many site opportunities and constraints. To minimise visual and noise impact to surrounding neighbours, a landscaped earth bund will immerse the proposal into the sloping landscape. The bund has the added advantage of enhancing the biodiversity potential of the site providing grassland and wildflower meadow planting to the land surrounding the nursery / Pre-school.
