Upton Country Park

WDA is thrilled to have been granted planning permission for a contemporary & sustainable welcome centre at Upton Country Park in Poole.

This ‘landscape led’ design will replace the existing toilet block located in a prominent location in to the parking area and approach to the park.

The centre will focus on providing a high-quality visitor experience and creating a central information point for visitors to access to services, events and facilities.

The striking design incorporates many sustainable building technologies and carefully considered materials such as chestnut timber cladding and dry stone walling.

The new facility will be partially funded by a £1.9million heritage lottery bid.

This has been a very exciting and enjoyable project for WDA to be involved with, and we look forward to the designs become a reality.
