Gosport planning committee unanimously approve High Street scheme

WDA are thrilled that our scheme for 18 apartments and retail unit were unanimously approved at planning committee.

The scheme reinstates the historic building height line along the High Street in Gosport, respecting and restoring the historic street pattern. The design uses a simple but high-quality material palette, raising the architectural profile of the high street and enhancing the character and appearance of the conservation area. The use of brick with stone detailing compliment the materials employed by nearby listed buildings whilst adding a contemporary twist, with architectural relief and finesse.

Councillors commended the high-quality design, adding it would be an asset to the High Street.
