Completed Project: A seaside refurbishment in Lyme Regis

We are delighted to share the completed photography of Langmoor House, a carefully considered refurbishment, remodelling and extension of a period home within the Lyme Regis Conservation Area.

Perched above the town with panoramic views across Lyme Bay, the project has transformed the property into a contemporary family home that embraces its exceptional coastal setting while respecting its historic character and prominent Conservation Area location.

The design reimagines the ground floor as a bright, open-plan living space with strong connections to the gardens, complemented by a carefully integrated two-storey extension that sits comfortably alongside the original house. Thoughtfully detailed contemporary interventions, including Crittall-style glazing, bespoke joinery and a new principal suite with a private roof terrace, enhance the home without compromising its architectural heritage.

Alongside the new living spaces, the existing house has been comprehensively refurbished, incorporating upgraded building services, improved insulation and high-quality finishes throughout. The landscaped gardens and discreetly extended subterranean garage complete the transformation, creating a home that is both practical and beautifully connected to its surroundings.
