New Class Q approval in Fontmell Magna, Dorset

We are really pleased to have gained another Class Q approval to convert a disused barn into a new home.

Persistence and clear strategic planning has delivered an excellent result for our client.

The project began with a Class Q permitted development application prepared by another agent, which was refused on highway grounds. Once appointed, WDA reviewed the constraints in detail and submitted a revised Class Q Permitted Development application which was withdrawn due to a further access issue.

We then prepared a full planning application for a retrospective farm track, providing consent for safe, compliant access to the site. With this in place, we submitted the final Class Q permitted development application, making use of the newly approved access. This time, the proposal was approved!

A great example of how thorough planning and determination can turn challenges into successful results for clients and their projects.
