Knighton Farm planning approval

WDA and planning consultants Chapman Lily, are delighted to have secured planning permission for the redevelopment of Knighton Farm for modern light industrial, warehouse units plus the conversion of the attractive courtyard buildings into offices.

The approved scheme offers a better alternative to the existing layout of the site with regards to its impact on the greenbelt and on the locally listed buildings. Whilst some of the proposed units will be marginally larger than the existing, any increases are negligible and are offset by the removal of areas of open storage around the peripheries of the site.

The proposed new buildings, refurbishment and reuse of non designated heritage assets improves the Green Belt in comparison to the existing built form on site, whilst ensuring the future use of the non designated heritage assets.
