Traditional materials. Contemporary detailing

The detached house features a mix of local stone, predominantly Forest marble / Stalbridge stone with some Hamstone and Sherborne stone mixed through together with Bath stone lintels over openings. The roof is finished in slate with contemporary aluminium window frames.

The new house takes full advantage of its location, offering long distance views to the countryside. The semi-open plan ground floor offers a great balance of fluidity, yet distinction between the kitchen, living room and hallway.

Most windows and doors are able to be fully opened allowing a fantastic connection between the inside and outside.

An open porch feature over the main entrance is yet to be constructed.
