Bagwell Farm

This burnt out derelict threshing barn near the Jurassic Coast was reconstructed and converted into a beautiful new home.

A large barn is a cathedral of the countryside. The challenge was to take a former large open space and transform it into a family home with individual rooms and full height spaces without losing its simple rustic character and dramatic scale.

White walled interiors allow for a simple aesthetic and exposed structural timber elements help the dwelling to retain its previous historic character.
